Jenna France is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 8 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Indiana University and her Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from Loyola University Chicago. Jenna has worked in a variety of treatment settings, both inpatient and outpatient, and is experienced in individual, family, and group therapy. Jenna has been in supervisory roles, helping new clinician’s process their experience as a therapist and learn to improve the work that they do.

Jenna prioritizes working collaboratively with clients and creating a warm and non-judgmental therapy experience. After identifying a client’s specific goals for therapy, she utilizes evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Exposure Response Prevention Therapy (ERP), to facilitate progress and growth.

Jenna specializes in working with clients experiencing depression and bipolar disorder, anxiety, ADHD, grief and loss, relationship changes (including divorce), substance abuse, disordered eating and body image concerns, chronic pain and illness. She also has many years of experience working with adolescents and their families to address the many challenges that can come up during this time. During her master’s program, she was awarded a grant which included training in working with at-risk youth.

Jenna believes that therapy can be beneficial for everyone, whether someone thinks that what they’re experiencing is “too small for therapy” or if they are in the midst of a crisis. Jenna considers her clients the true experts on themselves and acts as a knowledgeable guide to help them get to their own understanding in pursuit of a life of meaning and value.

Jenna brings compassion and empathy to each session and believes in the client or family’s strength to grow and thrive. Jenna feels privileged to come to work every day and share in her client’s journeys.

I focus on the importance of balance within mind, body, and spirit in my own life and when helping others. Much of my education has been in “the school of life” and I am deeply passionate about combining this lived experience with my years of education in the field of therapy. I believe a life well-lived includes a balance in all areas and make it a priority to maintain this. For me, life is not only about our striving for accomplishments and successes, but also about fun, rest, and enjoyment. You can find me deep in a meditation or yoga class, walking in nature and taking pictures, spending quality time with my partner, friends, and family, writing and reading, traveling, and exploring new restaurants and cuisines.
